Verjuice is a traditional product of Crete, that has almost dissapeared from our everyday life, and our tradition.
It is made by pressing fresh, unripe grapes, and is distinguished for its delicate taste with a characteristic light sweetness and refreshing acidity. It is used in cooking, pastry and cocktails, giving freshness and an elegant aromatic aftertaste.
Verjuice is the ecological solution for using the grapes we would otherwise use as fertilizer, resulting from our green harvest. With green harvest we reduce and balance the yield of a vineyard to improve the quality of the grapes (which will be used for our wines).
Verjuice is a delicious ingredient for cooking, ideal for all meals served with wine, because of their common origin.
