Regional Wine of Heraklion

Varieties: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon - 50% Merlot.

The "Great Ladies" of the world's vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, were cultivated in the ideal microclimate of the Lyrarakis domain, at the mountainous village of Alagni.

Vinification: The wine was hosted for 15 months in new French oak, offering us this unique wine

Characteristics: Deep red colour. Powerful bouquet with an intense presence of red fruits, nutmeg and vanilla. Velvety mouth, round, with a rich, well structured body and a long and penetrating finish.

Suggested with: Grilled red meat, game and piquant cheese.

Best consumed: at a temperature of 17-18° C

A wine that can be aged for a long time.
